Typeface, Delauney is another modern-day, 1920s Art Deco-inspired font that is simple, classic, and elegant as it has not one version but multiple. As Vandelay Design explains, there are "three styles — regular, shadow, and catchwords. The character set includes uppercase letters, numbers, punctuation, and multilingual support." This diverse format adds different elements to the same font family. Some of the characters are less edgy than others but all show a geometric feel which is classic in Art Deco fonts. For instance, letters like the capital "A" are either edgier or more circular which adds a playful spin to the font. Delauney can be used for wedding invitations, logos, branding, etc., and gives a similar glamourous vibe like the Hotel Metro in Milwaukee rebrand that was discussed previously. Even the way the layout is presented before purchasing the font, the ad design is black and gold which is popular for Art Deco designs with different geometric patterns as well. The catchwords and shadow are newer types of design ideas connecting letters into already-made words and also playing into the 3D design with the two-toned layered style. This is a different type of typography design as there are different elements and additions that create a unique font that is usable in various different ways because of the three styles. I think this is an important example because the creation of different font styles shows that a lot can come from one idea to enhance the future use of designs. This means that typefaces today may have more unique styles that expand on just uppercase, lowercase, and other typical characters like Delauney has.
